ABOUT ME

​

I am an American physician living in Switzerland. 

​

After years of education (university, medical school, and business school), I became a board-certified internal medicine physician and established a successful career in the U.S. working as a hospitalist physician and later a primary care doctor.

​

Spurred by a sense of adventure, family love, and a poignant reminder that life is indeed short, I then left my clinical practice and joined my husband in Zürich.

​

Now I am working with AMBOSS (www. AMBOSS.com) to create and promote the next generation of the ideal clinical resource tool for busy physicians.

​

When not working and writing, I am studying German, hiking, cycling, skiing, reading, playing the clarinet, and spending time with my family.
